“ Small little birria spot in IB on the corner of 13th and Coronado/Imperial Beach Blvd. The parking lot only has a few spots and they share it with a couple of other shops in the corner. Food was great they definitely didn't skip out on the birria meat in each dish. Ordered a birria nacho, birria deluxe combo, and a birria ramen. The nachos were tasty stacked with a nice pile of birria meat topped with cheese sauce, onions, cilantro and some avocado. The birria ramen even came with a birria taco which was nice surprise there were some pickled onions and radishes also. It was nice they put extra onion and cilantro on the side so you can put as much of that into your ramen as you like. The deluxe was great coming with three different styles and a cup of birria consume to dip everything in. They were even nice enough to give me a free soda. ”

“ We were not disappointed with the delicious food here! We ordered and paid right at the counter when we came in. I had a soft taco and my husband had something else, but we didn't catch the name of it. We had Coke in glass bottles. ”

“ These tacos were extremely delicious. Was not disappointed. Some of the best I’ve had here in San Diego. Probably the best in the area. Customer service was also top tier. Would recommend this spot to anyone looking for some great food near the beach. ”

“ One word “cheese pull” ok that’s two words. But oh wow the Birria Grilled cheese is amazing. I also really enjoyed the ramen. I would for sure come back. The prices are really good and the portions are massive. Also don’t forget to grab the Agua Fresca‘s they are so delicious. ”

“ Was very impressed with this place. Ordered the spicy shrimp taco and that was great 10/10. Ordered the shrimp ceviche also 10/10 and the keto taco was another 10/10 for me. My sister is the one who told me about this place in IB and apparently they’ve been open now for 3 months and have a birria truck in lemon grove. Customer service was amazing and the atmosphere of the restaurant was cool with all the lotería decor. Definitely coming back to try other items on the menu. ”

“ Change the pricing a lot , no customer service , I called ahead of time for the price for just the birria (the full order) I Was told it is $15 for 24oz so I ordered it. When I arrived the priced is marked at $15 liked they said but they were charging me $18.22 they said tax and card fee , it didn’t add up but I said fine then I asked for another 24oz but I was paying cash to see the difference and it was maybe a .75cent difference , I asked them I thought it was $15 and the lady said they priced changed , I responded, it changed it the last 10 seconds , she said it was the wrong price on the menu and forgot to change it and then pointed that at the sign that stated that prices may change without notice. It would have been greatly appreciated , especially because it was my first time trying this place , that they honored that price that they told me. loved the food other than that I was disappointed ”

“ Food was amazing, had fish tacos and my son had quesa birria tacos and they were really good also! The consume for the birria tacos was so tasty and the consume for the fish tacos was delicious! I will definitely be coming back again ”

“ I was skeptical about eating here. I love new places but this place had so few reviews. Off the bat it was a challenge to find as the sign says : Mariscos Shop and much smaller it says Birreria La Loteria. Right out of the gates, BLL hit it out of the park. We ordered all of the following and split amongst our tribe: grilled cheese, quesataco, Cali burrito, vampiro, Birria Ramen and pescado taco. The grilled cheese was good to me but my son loved it. He said it was a 10/10. My wife just LOVED the burrito. Definitely a home run there. My absolute favorite was the pescado. They gave me a crème sauce and habanero sauce to put on that was lotta this world 10/10. The ramen was okay but not my thing. The owner here was great. 19 year old Caesar started this place with his dad when he was 14. Really cool to meet young entrepreneurs that have a passion for what they’re doing. If you’re in IB I recommend giving them a Shot! One thing that really set this place a cut above the rest was the service. For this type of establishment, it was truly the best I’ve been waited on. 5/5 ”
